This apartment is on the lower level of a large, mid-century modern, family home occupied by your hosts. The home was designed by the famous Wimberly & Cooke architects in the 50’s and has been been meticulously restored to reflect today’s modern Hawaiian style with a nod to the past. The unit has one parking spot and separate entrance providing privacy from the main home. The air-conditioned bedroom has one queen bed, a mid-century Hollywood Tropicana bath with dual sinks and a beautiful, tiled walk-in shower.
Full laundry facility and plenty of closet space make this the ideal spot for an extended holiday stay! Enjoy the quiet, peaceful, residential evenings and the melodious morning bird song. The stylish and comfortable living area with retractable doors opens onto a large lanai with a pergola and outdoor dining table. Live life in the tropics-let the birdsong and tradewinds flow thru the home or close up and enjoy the modern split AC system. The all new, modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to dine in and enjoy the simple island life.
Smart TV’s are found in both the living room and bedroom. Your music can be streamed through a portable Sonos speaker.

For your fun in the sun days, we provide kayaks, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and a cooler.
A gas BBQ is available for your private use. One bedroom drawer has locking capability for security. A premium 2020 Ford Explorer Sport SUV is available for rent for an additional cost. Enjoy the front yard’s communal meeting place/picnic table as a friendly way to meet the locals and your host’s family.

The home is located in the unique beach community of Kailua on the windward side of Oahu. Kailua town with its boutique
shopping, trendy restaurants, and Whole Foods Market is just 2.5 miles from the apartment. Honolulu international airport is only 30 minutes away. Waikiki with its award-winning restaurants, shopping and tourist vibe is 40 minutes away. Just a couple blocks down the street is a small shopping center with a Safeway, Starbucks, wine shop, and a few local restaurants.

Rates
This is a 30-day rental starting at $4500/month with all utilities included. All bookings are subject to 17.962% taxes, $300 departure cleaning fee, and $2500 refundable security deposit. Once monthly maid service is included in your stay.
